Lissi Ahrens-Heimer is a student assistant in the Cluster’s exhibitions team. She is mainly charged with organizational matters and research. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and in Area Studies from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In 2013 she began pursuing a Master of the Arts degree in Modern South and Southeast Asian Studies at the Institute for Asian and African Studies of the same university. Her research interests are Southasian sociology, urbanism, and environmental policy. She is particularly interested in the correlation between social structures and waste disposal policies in India.
