Faten Ahmed was a research associate in the project »Attention & Form«. She studied psychology in Dresden and wrote her diploma thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig. Faten Ahmed will obtain her doctorate at the Cluster. Among other things, her research is concerned with the basic principles of the emergence and representation of pictorial perceptions in the human memory and their knowledge- and experience-dependent transformations. She is planning to explore the formation and adaption of pictorial prototypes of memory objects in experimental psychological research using various psychological methods, such as eye tracking.
