Felix Sattler works at the Hermann von Helmholtz-Zentrum für Kulturtechnik at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Since 2013 he is the curator for the Tieranatomisches Theater – Exhibition Research Space of the university. Since 2017 he is priority research area leader of »Collecting & Exhibiting« at the Cluster of Excellence »Image Knowledge Gestaltung«. He studied Media Art & Design and Media Culture at the Bauhaus Universität Weimar and photography/time based art at the College of Fine Arts, Sydney. Since 2002, Felix Sattler has been developing exhibitions and museological research into display practices about natural and cultural objects and institutional narratives.

Curating science, applied museology, art & science dialogue, research in display, aesthetic history of knowledge, epistemology of replicas.
