Frank Meißner is pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Sciences at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and Cultural Sciences with a secondary degree in Art and Image History.

In the project »Morphology and History of Forms«, Frank is involved in the creation of an image data base containing all morphological illustrations of vertebrates published in the Journal of Morphology since 1887. The resulting repository is to serve as a foundation for image, media technology, and science history research in the greater context of studying the relationship between knowledge and images.
