Jana Johr has a Master's degree and received a doctorate from the Winckelmann Institute of Classical Archaeology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her research interest is archaeology of the Roman Iron Age. After four years at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Athens, she gained experience as a researcher and teacher at Freie Universität Berlin and most recently at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
