Lia Bertram completed her degrees in Art History and Scientific Study of Religion at the Freie Universität between 2010 and 2014. She was part of the student project “Digital Horae,” a research database on book of hours printing in Paris during the 1500s.
She is currently a graduate student in the programme History of Art and Images at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, concentrating on medieval art and architecture. In the course of her studies she has completed several internships, including antique establishments dealing in books and art pieces, auction houses, and the State Library’s scripts department, where she was primarily tasked with converting a catalogue for the platform Manuscriptum Mediavalia.
She currently provides assistance in the development of the Cluster’s exhibitions, in addition to drafting catalogue content, and procuring research material. She also aids Prof. Dr. Claudia Blümle in her instructional courses, publications, and in the project’s sub-projects.
