Martin Grewe studied educational sciences and computer science in Münster. He has been a researcher at the Zuse-Institut Berlin since 2010, in addition to working in the Interdisciplinary Laboratory’s Base Project The Epistemic Reverse Side of Instrumental Images. He conducts research on the human face, concentrating on the individual morphology of facial expressions in movement. Together with the Base Project’s interdisciplinary researchers, he employs digital 3D technology to develop highly-precise methods for the measurement and analysis of both static and dynamic morphological patterns of facial expressions.
