Philipp Koller studied Musicology, Cultural Studies and European Ethnology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and is currently in the final stages of his Master’s in Cultural Studies. After writing his undergraduate dissertation on media technologies in music and Baudrillard’s simulation theory, he is now exploring the relationship between general system theory and the visual arts in the 1960s. The philosophy of technology, media cultural history, forms of knowledge in the arts and »French theory« are constantly recurring ideas in his thinking.
As a student assistant, he supports and documents work in the Object Laboratory by the project »Mobile Objects«.
