Stefan Beck

Stefan Beck is Professor of European Ethnology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He is assistant speaker for the Special Research Field 640, »Repräsentationen sozialer Ordnungen im Wandel: Intertemporäre und interkulturelle Vergleiche« (Representations of social orders in change: comparisons across periods and cultures). He is Principal Investigator in the research project »The Production of Chronicity in Psychiatric Care and Research in Berlin« as well as in the project »Biofuel as Social Fuel« in cooperation with the Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung (PIK) (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research).

Stefan Beck died on March 26, 2015.
