Theresa Habermann

Theresa Habermann trained as a biology laboratory technician in a molecular research company in Cologne. After completing her training, she worked in the field of gene expression and later in experimental clinical nutrition at the Technische Universität München. She then returned to education to sit her university entrance exams and studied Geological Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin with a major in Palaeontology and Geological History.

She is currently in the second semester of her Master’s in Geoecology at the University of Potsdam. She is especially interested in how society can adopt a sustainable and considerate approach to using global resources and raw materials and in the interrelations between the material flows and processes required to protect ecosystems and biodiversity.

Theresa Habermann is a student assistant in the base project »The Anthropocene Kitchen«. Her research in the Interdisciplinary Laboratory focuses on feeding the global population and the related material flows and use of resources.
