Die Förderung des Exzellenzclusters »Bild Wissen Gestaltung« durch die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft endete am 31.12.2018. In den Rubriken Publikationen und Veranstaltungen wurde die Webseite bis Frühjahr 2019 aktualisiert. In den Jahren 2016 bis 2020 befand sich hier auch die Webseite des Helmholtz-Zentrums für Kulturtechnik. Die neue Webseite des Helmholtz-Zentrums ist unter der Domain https://www.kulturtechnik.hu-berlin.de/ verfügbar.
