Marion Lauschke is a research associate in the research training group »Picture Act and Embodiment« with a focus on embodiment theories in aesthetics. She is also a member of the research project »Ikonische Formprozesse. Ein missing link zwischen Kultur- und Naturtheorie« (Fritz-Thyssen-Stiftung). There she focuses on pre-symbolic design processes. She received her doctorate in Philosophy from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2007. From 1995 to 2010 she worked as an editor in the academic publishing sector and as a publisher and translator of works by and about Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Immanuel Kant and Ernst Cassirer.
