Nuria Röder has been studying for a BA in Art and Visual History and Educational Science at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since October 2016. Her main interests are currently artistic work and image cultures at the crossroads between art and neuroscience. Prior to this, she completed her BSc in Patholinguistics at the University of Potsdam and the University of Vienna, and wrote her bachelor’s dissertation on cognitive neurolinguistics.
Alongside her studies, Nuria Röder is a member of the team behind the Kleine Humboldt Galerie, where she assists with the conceptual development and realisation of contemporary art exhibitions.
Since April 2018, she has been a Germany Scholarship holder in the theme class »Nature of Perception – Art of Illusion«, where she studies artistic works that take various neurological disorders as a starting point for an exploration of human perception.
