Reinhard Wendler is engaged on postdoctoral work at the Institute of the History of Art Florence, within the research association »Bilderfahrzeuge« of the Warburg Institute in London and was also a member of the project »Modelle als Akteure« in the area »Formale Modelle, Logik und Programmierung« (Formal Models, Logic and Programming) at Innovationszentrum Wissensforschung (the Centre for Knowledge Research) at Technische Universität Berlin. He studied History of Art, History of Music and Philosophy at TU Berlin and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He wrote his dissertation on the role of models in creation and knowledge processes.
